Terms and conditions of sale

1. What these terms and conditions govern

These terms and conditions govern the sale of tickets by Apropos srl, with registered office at Corso Matteotti, 4/26 – 48018 Faenza (RA), VAT number IT02541090391, registered in the Ravenna Companies Register under REA Number RA – 211050.

2. What you can purchase

The tickets for sale are of different types. The characteristics of each ticket, such as the price or the type of events or activities that the tickets grant access to, are indicated on the ticket sales page. There may be changes to the event program even after the ticket has been purchased.

3. The tickets

Tickets are available in limited quantities and waiting lists are not provided.

The ticket is registered under a specific name. For this reason, it is not possible for different people to participate with the same ticket; for example, you at the conference and another person at the workshop (unless “conference” and “workshop” tickets are sold separately).

The ticket is transferable through the same ticket sales platform: the name, that is, can be changed independently at any time.

We ask you to transfer it a few days before the event, so that we can print the badges, in case of in-person events. Otherwise, you might not have a badge available with the name of the person to whom the ticket was transferred.

To participate in in-person events, you will need to show us the QR code of your ticket (which you received from the sales platform, Tito) at the venue entrance. You don’t need to present your printed ticket; you can have it digitally.

If you have purchased a ticket to participate in the online event, you will receive an email with instructions for following the event via streaming.

4. How to purchase the ticket

To purchase the ticket, follow the procedure indicated on the website.

Be careful to enter your details correctly, particularly your email address.

After you have submitted the order and paid the amount due, you will receive an email confirmation of the ticket purchase, with a summary of your details.

When you receive the ticket purchase confirmation email, the sales contract is considered finalized.

Remember to check if there are any errors in the email and report them to us immediately so we can correct them.

5. Invoicing

After the purchase, you will receive an automatic email from invoices@apropos.srl, with a link to enter the data for the invoice.

After that, you will receive the electronic invoice.

If you do not receive the email with the link, write to invoices@apropos.srl indicating the conference purchased, the email from which the order was placed, and if possible the order reference number.

Even if you don’t want to address the invoice to a company but are purchasing as a private individual, this step is necessary. In fact, by law we must issue an invoice addressed to a VAT number or tax code for every purchase made.

6. How and how much to pay

You can pay for the ticket with PayPal or Stripe. We do not have access to the credit card number you use to pay with PayPal and Stripe.

You can also purchase tickets by paying by bank transfer, if it is impossible for your company to pay by card. To request this payment method, write to invoices@apropos.srl indicating the conference and the type and number of tickets you intend to purchase. If you pay by bank transfer, after the amount has been credited to our account, we will send you a code by email with which you can register for the event. In the event that the bank transfer is not credited to our bank account, the sales contract is not considered finalized and you will not be able to participate in the event.

The ticket price indicated on the website DOES NOT include VAT.

7. If and how to withdraw

In case of ticket purchase, the right of withdrawal is excluded. Therefore, you are not entitled to any type of refund if for any reason you are unable to participate in the event.

You are not entitled to a refund even if, for example, you purchased the ticket for the in-person event instead of the ticket to follow the event online or vice versa.

8. If the event is canceled or postponed

If the event is postponed or canceled, for any reason, you may alternatively:

  • keep the ticket for the next edition of the same event;
  • cancel the ticket and obtain one for another conference of similar format/duration.

9. Video recordings and photographs of the event

During the event, our collaborators or other participants may record or photograph you.

By participating in the event, you are therefore aware of and accept that your image may be published and distributed free of charge on the internet and, in particular, on social networks, including for promotional purposes.

If you do not want this to happen, write to us at info@apropos.srl to find a solution together.

10. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law.

We will try to resolve any disputes relating to the sale of tickets amicably. If we are unable to do so, please be aware that the dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Ravenna.

If, however, you have purchased the ticket as a consumer (that is, for purposes unrelated to your professional or business activity), then any dispute relating to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, if not resolved amicably, will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the place where you have your residence or domicile.
